The Scotland Pakistan Scholarships for Young Women and Girls finances graduate education for Pakistani women at any HEC-recognized university in Pakistan. The Pakistan Scottish Scholarship Program. The Scotland Pakistan Scholarship for Young Women and Girls is accessible to individuals pursuing either:
An undergraduate program leading to a four-year bachelor’s degree is available at any HEC-recognised university in Pakistan.
A Master’s degree or MPhil from any HEC-recognised university in Pakistan is available, with a maximum duration of two years.

The Scotland Pakistan Scholarships for Young Women and Girls Scheme will provide awardees with the following benefits:
Tuition expenses for programs in qualifying disciplines
Expenses for university accommodation (if relevant)
Students residing in on-campus hostels travel to and from home twice annually.
Disciplinary Domains
The scholarship will finance a four-year bachelor’s or two-year master’s degree at a Pakistani university recognized by HEC, exclusively in the following subject areas:
Education in Sustainable Energy
Food Security and Agriculture; Health Sciences; STEM (Master’s degree only)
Criteria for Climate Eligibility
These scholarships are exclusively available to female applicants.
Furthermore, candidates need to:
Be Pakistani citizens presently living in Pakistan.
Be enrolled in a two-year master’s program or a four-year bachelor’s program in the aforementioned fields of study.
Possess a validated admission offer from a university accredited by HEC in Pakistan.

Applications are solicited for the Scottish Government Scholarship 2026 for Pakistani students in Pakistani universities. All students residing in Pakistan are eligible to apply for the Scottish Government Scholarship Scheme 2026. Students now enrolled in an undergraduate, master’s, or MPhil degree program are invited to apply for the grant. It is a fully funded scholarship at the premier universities in Pakistan. Eligibility Criteria for the Scotland Pakistan Scholarships for Young Women and Girls 2025-26:

The following criteria must be met to be considered eligible for the Scottish Government Scholarship for Pakistani Students:

  • Only female applicants can apply.
  • Be Pakistani nationals currently residing in Pakistan.
  • Be pursuing a four-year bachelor’s degree or a two-year master’s degree in the above-listed subject areas.
  • Hold a confirmed admission offer from an HEC-recognized university in Pakistan.
  • Applications are welcome from minority groups and young women with disabilities living in rural areas.

To apply for the Scottish Government Scholarship, a complete application must include the following documents:

  • A duly filled-out application form
  • Scanned copy of CNIC
  • Scanned copy of transcripts
