Eligibility Criteria for the AIT Asian Development Bank Scholarship 2026-27

• Applicants must be citizens of ADB borrowing member countries; therefore, applicants from countries that are no longer borrowing from ADB are not eligible.
• Additionally, applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent with a superior academic record.
• Moreover, candidates must have at least two (2) years of full-time professional working experience, acquired after completing their university degree, at the time of application.

• Priority is given based on the ranking or order of merit proposed by AIT.
• Moreover, applicants with less than two years of work experience will not be selected.
• In addition, preference is given to women candidates.
• Furthermore, the international scholarship program favours applicants with lower financial capacities; specifically, family income should not exceed USD 50,000 per year, and individual income should not exceed USD 25,000 per year.

• Scholars must commit to returning and working in their home countries for at least two years after graduation.
• Scholars must acknowledge employment restriction policies and cannot work at ADB for two years after graduation.

Termination of Scholarships of the AIT Asian Development Bank Scholarship 2026-27:

• Scholarships may be terminated for unsatisfactory academic progress, legal violations, misconduct, or breach of ADB-JSP or student visa conditions.

Application Process of the AIT Asian Development Bank Scholarship 2026-27:

• Applicants should first request information and application forms from their chosen Designated Institute (DI), such as AIT.
• Next, applicants must inform AIT that they are applying for admission and wish to be considered for the ADB-JSP Scholarship.
• Then, submit the completed DI application form along with all required documentation, including the ADB-JSP Information Sheet.
• It is essential to ensure that all documentation is accurate and complete, as incomplete or false information may lead to disqualification or termination of the award.
• Additionally, applicants must submit their latest income tax return or a certification of annual/monthly salary, as well as a certification of family income.
